Why cant I add people in my group but they can add me? Why do i have to unlock my car for people to ride in it? Why cant I open metal doors that people in my group make? Pls Help, ty.
If you are talking in-game: They must clear the current group to join yours. Out of game: Join your steam group. In the character screen under groups, make your group primary. Join the game. You need to unlock the car if you want players not in your group to be able to get into the car. If the door was placed before you joined the group, if you leave or are ejected from the group, or if the person who placed the door leaves the group you will not be able to open the metal door. This may also affect your ability to place objects in the claim flag area.
i removed the door and placed it again while my gf was in the group and she couldnt open it still, so took it off and dropped it so she can pick it up and when she did I couldnt open it. I know she was in my group because I could see her in the chart map. I am pretty new to the game, so thanks for your patience.
You should also see a small white line linking the two of you on the map page to confirm you are grouped.
